This revolutionary triple-laser projector can display a 150-inch image with 3,000 lumens of brightness, so forget about OLED TVs.

Hisense is introducing a brand-new ultra short throw (UST) projector to the market that boasts 3,000 lumens of brightness and Dolby Vision support on an image that can reach up to 150 inches, all in keeping with the company’s 2024 TV lineup vision of “big screen, big value.”

If its specs are correct, Hisense’s latest projector, the PX3-Pro, may be able to compete with some of the greatest OLED TVs. It is a follow-up to the Hisense PX2-Pro, utilizing the LPU digital laser engine created by Hisense in conjunction with a TriChroma triple-laser.

The PX3-Pro, according to Hisense, will “set a new standard for visual excellence,” with its AI image enhancing technology that enhances images in real time by increasing brightness, removing noise, and adjusting contrast levels.

Hisense is leading the way in the laser projector market and is about to shake things up with a new offering aimed at movie buffs. With its extensive feature set, the PX3-Pro stands out from the competition and can even compete with some OLED TVs.

Since the PX3-Pro is a triple-laser UST projector, it lacks a dedicated screen but is nevertheless optimized for vibrant colors and contrast. Hisense asserts that it can cover up to 110% of the BT.2020 spectrum, which is a bold assertion considering how many TVs fall short in this regard. For instance, the Hisense U8K Mini-LED TV only covers 80.41% of the BT.2020 spectrum.

Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced, and HDR10+ compatibility are benefits that provide you access to the best possible picture quality in a variety of films and television series. Additionally, the PX3-Pro has a brightness potential of 3,000 ANSI lumens, so you won’t need to utilize it in a dimly lit space because it should be able to compete with ambient lighting.
